How to check a clinic’s registration in Korea
Separate a clinic’s identity, registration and claims before relying on a recommendation.
This is a practical planning guide. Confirm current arrangements directly with the institution. Personal medical decisions belong with a qualified clinician.
Start with the exact identity
Ask for the Korean institution name and full branch address. Similar English names and different branches can make comparisons confusing. Match the address as well as the name when looking through official sources.
Look up foreign-patient registration
Medical Korea provides a registration-system explanation and a registered-hospitals directory. Use them to investigate the clinic you are considering. If the English name is difficult to find, obtain the Korean name and ask the relevant official contact for clarification.
Keep registration and accreditation distinct
A registration entry and an accreditation program are different records. Read the description and scope of each badge on its official source. Do not turn a registration result into a claim that a clinic is the best, safest or suitable for your individual needs.
Use HospitalFact for basic facts
HospitalFact lists Korean medical-institution information with sources and observation dates. It can help you compare an institution’s recorded name, location and other available basic facts. Its ordinary listing does not by itself confirm foreign-patient registration or English-language support.
If records disagree
Do not guess which branch a listing describes. Keep the source URLs and the date you checked them, and ask the clinic or the relevant authority to resolve the discrepancy. SeoulLoop can review a factual correction but does not certify clinics.
