Your privacy

We ask for a nickname, not a medical history.

Data we use

Accounts store your nickname, password hash, recovery-code hash, optional public affiliation and acceptance date. We store your questions, replies, moderation status, saved items and reports to provide the service. Your nickname and affiliation appear with published posts. Saved items and account settings are private.

Cookies and security

Essential session and CSRF cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. We use no advertising cookies or third-party analytics. A temporary, keyed hash of your IP address or user ID limits abusive submissions; these counters expire within two hours and are cleared daily. The application does not store the original IP address in these counters. Our route-only access logs omit IP addresses and query strings and are retained for up to 14 days. Security errors may contain request metadata.

Hosting and service providers

Account and community data are hosted on our server in Korea. Cloudflare provides domain and DNS services. We serve fonts locally. External source links are separate websites with their own policies. We do not transfer SeoulLoop account data to HospitalFact, sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Retention and your choices

You can delete a question or your account in My loop. Deleting your account removes your posts, replies, saved items, profile and reports from the active database. Restricted server backups are retained for up to 14 days; deleted data can remain there until expiry. If a backup is restored, deletion requests must be reapplied before reopening the service.

Recovery and requests

We do not collect an email address for account recovery. Keep your one-time recovery code safely. We cannot restore access without a valid credential. For access, correction, deletion, privacy complaints or questions about processing data in Korea, contact hello@hospitalfact.kr. Please do not include medical records. We may ask for proof of account control.
