Before paying a deposit: booking and cancellation questions
Keep the appointment details and cancellation terms together before committing.
This is a practical planning guide. Confirm current arrangements directly with the institution. Personal medical decisions belong with a qualified clinician.
Confirm what you are booking
Ask whether the appointment is for a consultation, another service or both. Confirm the date and time in Korea, the branch address and the method for changing the appointment. A conversation in a chat is not always the same as a confirmed booking.
Read the cancellation conditions
Request the deadline, applicable time zone, fee or deduction, and method for requesting a cancellation. Ask separately about late arrival, rescheduling and the clinic cancelling. Save the written response rather than relying on a general statement in a community post.
Plan for a change of circumstances
Ask what happens if a clinician decides a proposed service is unsuitable or requires a different plan. Only the clinic can explain its agreement with you; only a qualified clinician can assess the clinical questions.
Keep sensitive documents private
Retain confirmations securely for your own use. On SeoulLoop, describe a practical issue without attaching payment receipts, identification documents, medical records or screenshots containing other people’s details.
Use the right contact
Return to the clinic’s official contact channel for changes and disputes. SeoulLoop does not collect deposits, hold appointments or negotiate treatment contracts. Its community is a place to learn what to clarify before making those arrangements.
